“This is a terrific community project
right in the heart of Hastings and will
be a great resource for bringing people
together, both young and old.
Education across the board is at the heart

Volunteers
Since 2013, APGG has developed into a focused, professional team with experts in a range of horticultural, administrative and marketing areas.
A new Greenhouse Committee has been formed by our Trustees to develop the future use and management of the newly restored greenhouse. It’s purpose will be to navigate the future of the building in its enhanced state. To organise ensure good site management and encourage new volunteers, to enhance the wonderful work of the valued team we have.
Supported by The National Lottery Community Fund
We’re grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for awarding Alexandra Park Greenhouse Group a grant of £20,000. This funding will enable us to retain our RHS-trained Lead Gardener for a further two years, helping us support our volunteers, grow more plants, deliver community workshops and reach even more local people through gardening and environmental education.
